All processing happens entirely within your browser. JumpNotes has no server component.

activeTab — Used to interact with the currently active YouTube tab in order to read the video ID, timestamp, and display the note interface.

Required so the extension can run its content script on YouTube pages, inject the note interface, and attach notes to the correct video.

5. Data Deletion and User Control

You can delete your notes at any time using the delete options within the extension. Removing the extension from your browser also removes all data stored by JumpNotes.
